ROB WARD
Actor, Writer, Choreographer

Since 2013, Twin Cities-based theater artist Rob Ward has worked with numerous local companies including Open Window Theatre, Sidekick Theatre, Oncoming Productions, DayTrippers Theater, The National Theatre for Children, Actors Theater of Minnesota, Gadfly Theatre, Upright Egg, Erin Sheppard Presents, The Old Gem Theater, and Guittar Productions.
With a background in devised and physical theater, Rob has helped create numerous shows for the Twin Cities Horror Festival and The MN Fringe Festival. He has also taken on the role of producer for several shows with his company, Beta Fish Productions.
His one-man show How To Kill A Horse! won a Golden Lanyard Award at the 2023 Minnesota Fringe Festival and was named the At the 2024 Edmonton Fringe Festival, a review in the Edmonton Journal gave it 4/5 stars. This was followed by his second one-man show Welcome To The Food Chain which also took home a Golden Lanyard Award at the 2024 Minnesota Fringe Festival. Both How To Kill a Horse! and Welcome To The Food Chain are recipients of the World Crime League's award for "Most Diabolical Show at Fringe."
Rob's choreographical credits include Geminae (Oncoming Productions), Chocolate Covered Chicken Wings (Paradox Productions), Cinderella, The Elves & the Shoemaker (Sidekick Theatre), and Action Will Be Taken! (Mindless Mirth).
In addition to onstage work, Rob has appeared in film, television, music videos, commercials, web series, and podcasts.
When not in front of an audience or a camera, Rob flexes his creative muscles as a writer. His first novel, Click, was published in March 2022. Several of his poems can be heard on the Dead North Podcast and can be found in the anthology Apex of Christmas Strife: Gory Bastardizations of Cherished Christmas Poems.
Rob received his B.A. in Theatre Honors with a minor concentration in vocal music from Gustavus Adolphus College.
