ROB WARD
Actor, Writer, Choreographer
Rob Ward is a theater artist who's been working in the Twin Cities theatre community since 2013. Since that time, Rob has worked with numerous local companies including Sidekick Theatre, Oncoming Productions, DayTrippers Theater, The National Theatre for Children, Actors Theater of Minnesota, Gadfly Theatre, Upright Egg, Erin Sheppard Presents, The Old Gem Theater, and Guittar Productions.
With a background in devised and physical theater, Rob has helped create numerous shows for the Twin Cities Horror Festival and The MN Fringe Festival. He has also taken on the role of producer for the shows Action Will Be Taken, Geminae, Full Metal Rabbit, and Mendacity. He is a company member with Oncoming Productions.
His one-man show How To Kill A Horse! won a Golden Lanyard Award at the 2023 Minnesota Fringe Festival and was named the World Crime League's "Most Diabolical Show at Fringe."
In addition to onstage work, Rob has appeared in film, television, music videos, commercials, web series, and podcasts.
When not in front of an audience or a camera, Rob flexes his creative muscles as a writer. His first novel, Click, was published in March 2022. Several of his poems can be heard on the Dead North Podcast and can be found in the anthology Apex of Christmas Strife: Gory Bastardizations of Cherished Christmas Poems.
Rob received his B.A. in Theatre Honors with a minor concentration in vocal music from Gustavus Adolphus College.
